In part IV, after the fishing trip, the Big Nurse tries to persuade everyone that McMurphy wasn't a good guy like everyone thought he was. She told them to think about why would McMurphy get himself place in this nuthouse and waste his time doing all these things for them. Everyone was pretty much persuade except for Billy and Chief Broomden until McMurphy told Billy to spend $10 on Candy and give him another $10. Then he told Chief Broomden to lift a couple of boxes to make to it was heavy enough so that he can make bets with other patients and be sure to win. All of his work made everyone miss trust him.
No matter how intelligent McMurphy was, his temper still draws him down. When he saw that one out of the three black boys tries to force George into using soap and towel, McMurphy stood up for him and fought with the black boy. Chief Broomden also help fought back and therefore they were brought up to Disturbed. This made the other patients begin to believe and trust in him again but he himself was being punish. Chief Broomden was release from Disturbed before McMurphy because he obey while McMurphy continue to go against the Big Nurse. Up there, he was being treated with electronic device but he was still himself. In fact, he got much bigger once he was release from there.
The patients in the nuthouse try to plan his escape but McMurphy disagree thinking of how it would be the same day where Candy was going to sneak in and meet up with Billy. He didn't want to disappoint Billy at all so they set the plan aside. That night, he went through the filing cabinets, the drugs, and pretty much explore the hospital such as the Big Nurse office. When the next day came, instead of him escaping, Mr. Turkle escape with Sandy while he stayed back and took the blame for Billy's act of committing suicide and the act of holding a party inside the hospital.
He was then taken in for treatment. He didn't just sit back and allow the Big Nurse to do whatever they want. He fought and fought with the staff that even the Big Nurse was injured. Unfortunately, he still lost and was force to receive an operation which change him. Most of the people who were left from the fishing trip had left the hospital. Some decided that it was time to leave while others were being move to other mental hospitals. Even the doctor resign. There were only three left and when Chief Broomden find that he couldn't support McMurphy anymore in any ways, he decided to escape. He left the hospital successfully while McMurphy stayed in the nuthouse helplessly.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest Part 3
A man such as McMurphy can never truly retire from being himself. After a long time of backing off not going against the Big Nurse rule, McMurphy has decided that he's not going to continue to listen. He causes the big nurse to back up once again and to allow him to rule the hospital.
With McMurphy attitude, he's going to go farther and farther with breaking the Big Nurse hospital rules. Right after he got back to himself, McMurphy broke the Big Nurse personal window, took part in every meeting, and continue to make as much jokes as he possibly could to make the patients that were there to have a big laugh.
McMurphy decided to group up the guys and make a basketball team. He went to the doctor for the permission to allow him to bring a basketball back from the gym to practice. The Big Nurse really object it believing that they will kick it everywhere such as the day room but the doctor supported it. Of course McMurphy got all the guys to play and practice and the most important, improved.
He decided to really start trouble with the Big Nurse so he break the Big Nurse window and flirt with the other young nurses. These action lead the others to follow so harding begin to flirt with the nurses and Scanlon to break the Big Nurse window with a basketball. Knowing that that was the end of the basketball season, McMurphy came right up with another plan.
McMurphy came up with an idea going out fishing. He said that his two aunts which aren't really his aunts was going to pick them up and be their chaperone. The Doctor gave him the permission but the Big Nurse to continue to get in his way by posting stories about how dangerous it is.
The trip wasn't smooth at all. One of the girls couldn't show up so he had to persuade the doctor to be the other driver. When they got to the gas station, the people there causes McMurphy group to feel uncomfortable. When they try to get the boat, there were also some problems. Since McMurphy was smooth and slick enough, they all got to where they wanted to.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest II
Things were completely how the Big Nurse has plan it until McMurphy has entered the Mental Hospital. Once McMurphy came, he causes a big change out of order. He made fun of the black boys and upset the Big Nurse. He even causes the black boys to get in trouble with the Big Nurse by telling the nurse that he couldn't get dress because he didn't receive any clothes from the black boys.
McMurphy comes from the farm. He explain that he didn't want to live a life in the farm working hard each and everyday so he decided to find a way to get himself send into this place. He had sex with with a fifteen years old girl and claim that she was seventeen. The judge thought that he had some sort of mental problems therefore send him to this hospital.
McMurphy is a gambler. He announce in the hospital to other patients that he isn't crazy; different from the rest of them. He continues to gamble inside the hospital for cigarettes and finally started making bets saying that he could get the Big Nurse upset.
With McMurphy around, the Big Nurse rules was broken. The machines and punishment all stopped. Other patients there were entertain by his actions and his attitude towards the black boys and the big nurse. Some patients started to begin to rebelled against the Big Nurse.
At first, McMurphy had fun teasing and getting on the Big Nurse nerve. He enjoyed being fed with breakfast that taste much better than the ones he had on the farm and just hanging around doing nothing. After it's nearly a year, he begin to miss the world outside. He wanted to leave the hospital so he decided to behave himself allowing the Big Nurse to be in charge without any interruption again. When the Big Nurse announce that each person may only have on pack of cigarette a day, Cheswick went against it right away believing that McMurphy is there to back him up not knowing that McMurphy was behaving himself so that he could get dismiss from the hospital.
McMurphy is a very intelligent man. He could get in the Big Nurse nerves and get the black boys in trouble without getting himself in trouble. He was the first one to discovered that Chief Broomden can hear even though he's the newest patient at the hospital. McMurphy really knows how to work his way up to what he wants without placing himself in jeopardy.

Writing in Response to Kesey (Some suggestions)
This book takes place in a mental hospital filled with people from a very young age to a very old age. Some were force to enter the mental hospital by certain strangers and others were being brought their by their family members such as their wife. Each of these people are there with a certain kind of mental illness.
The narrator of this story is Chief Broomden. He's being known as Chief Broomden because his job is to sweep up the place. He's half Indian and half American. Chief Broom is one of the Chronics. He's been there since the World War II. Everyone believes that he is mute and death.
Since everyone comes to a conclusion that he's death and mute, no one ever really pays him any attention. It is a benefit for Chief Broomden to be our narrator because he gets to listen to a lots of other people's conversation. He than started to share all the benefits that he has gathered about other patient there. Also, since he's the patient who stays there the longest, he can provide us with information that he have witness or experience himself.
Broomden describe how there are machines that shaves him everyday, the activities that he and other Chronics and Acutes does everyday at what time. He also describes what he saw happens to Harding, Ruckly, and other Chronics and Acutes that was being force by the big nurse and the three black boys to get an operation. One person operation was very successful according to the big nurse for they really listens to her. There are others who the three black boys and big nurse consider as their failure such as Ruckly. Instead of healing him, him end up being blind. He hated his wife for sending him into such a place.
The disadvantage for having Broomden as a narrator is that he cant really tell much about his life. Also, u can't tell how everyone would have interact with him if he were to commute and his social life. Will he be able to just be a by stander at some of these incident or will he be one of those that the big nurse will make an experience with.

An additional blog in response to the play
I didn't expect for the actors to dress in a more modern style of clothing. It's very interesting to see how each of the actors have their style of dressing. The King and Queen costume doesn't look very modern. Hamlet way of dressing looks pretty modern. His way of dressing is just like a gentlemen dressing up very formally. Ophelia costume is very modern. Her dress can be describe as a nowadays sun dress, nothing special about it.
From the way they act really surprise me. It was very different from the way I pictured. Hamlet was very energetic. He was swing on bars (very amazing and surprising), and very smiley. The Hamlet that I thought about should be very depress. The similarities between the actor and the one from what I think is that both of them are very good at making fun and insulting others.
Queen Gertrude in the play seems like a slut. The way how she unbutton her clothes to persuade King Claudius to end his conversation with Polonius and go to bed with her. My Gertrude was an upright queen. She shows royalty in her. She makes me feel as though she married King Claudius so that she could protect her son by staying as a queen. The only similarity is that Gertrude is afraid of her son craziness but still really loves him.
To me Ophelia has to be a slower talker. She shows all her royalty to her father without any attitude towards anyone especially her father. In the play, she talks really fast. She shows an attitude towards her father even though she agreed to stay away from Hamlet. When I was reading, I felt as though her father has persuade her that Hamlet wasn't a good guy for her but while watching the play, it felt as though she was being force to leave Hamlet more than to be persuaded to leave him.
Horatio is that only character that seem to stay the same. He doesn't talk much but he surely was a good friend to Hamlet. He was being pretty fair and quiet. He is the smartest character throughout the whole play.He stays out of the whole situation and just look in as a bystander most of the time unless Hamlet ask him to get involve.

Hamlet Act III, IV, V
In these few last Acts, Hamlet tries to find out the truth to his father’s death. When he found out that it was really his uncle who killed his father, he tries to revenge. Throughout the process, Hamlet directly killed Polonius, Laertes, Claudius, and indirectly killed Ophelia and Gertrude. The only person who knows the story that is still alive is Horatio, the one that’s left to send Fortinbra Hamlet’s message.
Even to the very end of the play, I still find that Hamlet didn’t deserve to die. He of course would have to pay a price for killing Polonius but he surely didn’t deserve to get killed. All Hamlet want was to be a good son and revenge for his father as he was being told by his father’s soul to do. This just show how much he loves his father and how much respect he have for him. He never meant to kill any of these people but Claudius. If it wasn’t for Claudius, King Hamlet wouldn’t have killed. Polonius wouldn’t have work for him therefore Hamlet wouldn’t have stabbed him by accident. If Ophelia didn’t listen and obey her dad in every way, then she wouldn’t have lost Hamlet’s love and her father. If Polonius wasn’t killed, then Laertes wouldn’t have been killed in the dual. Without the dual, King Claudius wouldn’t have attempt to put poison into Hamlet’s cup of wine which Gertrude wouldn’t have died.
